Okay guys I'm finalizing my brackets design and need some of your guys help with this coil setup.

Can anyone post up pics of there coils in the car? Specifically the connection area or the coil and the other connection for the spark plug wire connection? I have to figure out which way the clips go in(spark plug wire side) because it can clip in 180deg and vise versa.

Also I know cylinders 2,3 and 6 use the coil and the rest of the cylinders run off those coils, but which one goes to what?

Also guys that are running the throttle linkage I heard the bracket kinda gets in the way of number 6 coil? And that it needs to be clocked off accordingly?

Need pics guys thanks!

This is what I'm thinking since the coil sits so far down:

Yeah FFIM is the easiest.

Honestly I don't even know if the linkage will work or not with the bracket

You have two different length spark plug boots on those coils?

PS- I said it before and I'll say it again- I will buy this bracket if you make it useable.

Fo' sho'.

See how I notched it so the coil slides up into the bracket

that looks like it will work nicely. I'm not near my car to take pictures, but if I work on it on the weekend I'll take some pictures. FFIM on my car as well.

Reviving this thread. Albert were you able to get this made ? Really like a clean install as opposed to my current aluminum made tabs haha they work though

still interested. a bit far to help out though. I suppose I could send you a junk head with valve covers...perhaps in exchange for one of those fancy plates.

I have a junk head, biggest obstacle was the throttle linkage...

Anyone going ffim it won't concern

Just started working on my 7m IS300 cop mod, and would also like this bracket when it is done. ;)

Albert, i dont know how far you have gotten in this but i recently put together a bracket much the same as what you are trying to do. Most of my information is in the COP thread by tookwik. I ended up just cutting off the leg on the throttle linkage that goes to the galley. No prob.
Mine is rough and was done with hand tools i think the information would do much better in your hands.
Post #433 should give you what you need.
