So i have seen a thread similar to this before but i cant seem to find it. Basically, i want to know how little electronics i can get away with and still have the car run properly. Like lets say, i want to run the motor on a stand/engine dyno(i dont), how much would i have to hook up to make it run. Do i need all the dash harnesses and stuff or can i just have the ecu and all the engine harness and it be fine. My plans are t make a track car but i want to leave out all the weight and unneeded stuff as possible. The reason i am using the GE is because of money, i cant afford a turbo set up on this car and my other one. So, any help would be greatly appreciated. i will probably hard wire any gauges i need and just zip tie them in or something(oil, water temp) so i dont plan on having any interior or dash or anything so if i can run the car without having all that harness under the dash then i would like to.
