My cylinder is machined 0.20 out from 83mm, now according to my machinist it's now 83.5mm. Plan to get a Cometic MLS and the next size up is 84mm. He says 84mm is fine and no need for a thick gasket. So the thinnest gasket they sell in 84mm bore is .030 compressed. Is going 84mm bore gasket fine? I don't see anything anywhere for a 83.5mm bore head gasket.
7M-GE bored out .020, What is the new head gasket bore size I can go with.
