I guess i should restate my previous post. Its a good power band for the track i just wouldnt drive it around town. I like not having to rev the crap out of my motor to get going.

I like the higher powerband, it's was poring rain here yesterday and it never broke loose because I shift early when I drive normal, back when I had my 7m it was a tire roaster on the low end and got me in trouble, the thing daily drives beautifully. I only race on the highway or at the track, light to light racing use to be fun back in high school

I dont really care for racing anymore, too many tickets/crashes. I just love driving a mk3. I think it would be awesome to have 700+ hp but i also like that i never really have to downshift to go up a hill. Some honda was messing with me on the highway the other day, goosed it in 5th at 60 and left him way behind.

Nice car btw. Im trying to go jz in the next six months. Not a question of money but if i really want to do it. I just rebuilt my 7m. I have a great deal on a 1j but i would much rather go 2j.

maybe its the .84 then all I know is it is undivided. and it doesnt really matter if MP made one or not, the turbine is a p-trim, so any p-trim housing will work

Yes, any Turbonetics, Garrett or similar P-trim housing should fit.

I bought a garrett copy T4 0.84 divided P-trim for mine and had it machined out to Q-trim for my T4 Q-trim MP T70.

My mp70 is a p-trim not a Q, so no machine work was required, and it is a .81 I confirmed and looked

The only car I have been in that scared me was a twin turbo 1969 charger with an EFI crate engine. He ran home brewed fuel (wood alcohol) and ran 285's on the back... no traction what-so-ever when he touched the throttle past 1/4. He had a set of racing slicks for the track to make it hook up but you couldn't use those on these roads without toasting them.

Albert has made me change my thoughts on the 1jz fully and I am gonna be switching my motor over to a 1jz if things go well. Probably order my next turbo off him as well.

Great job Albert. You always have a place to stay up in Kelowna. Just bring the car and a couple bucks for racing at the track against some other imports.

Welcome to the scared of your car club, back when I had just finished my 74mm 7M build I had very similar feelings towards it, daily driving of it seemed to tame the beast though.

3rd gear roll punch. About 6-7 cars behind you can see in his mirror. The time I pass I'm doing 120-130......in a matter of seconds
