Noob answer, no turbo is too big for a gte motor:icon_bigg. I would go with larger injectors if you'll be using a 67mm, 550s for something like a 61mm or smaller. hth

It all depends on the size the housings (both turbine and compressor), the tune of the engine, exhaust, turbine size, and journal bearing VS ball bearing.

It is a to4e cover on 67mm compressor and .58 a/r exhaust housing using a p trim exhuast wheel. Let me know what you think.

It jumps from 150whp at 3000 rpm to 300whp by 4200 rpm

damn homie looks like really good spool, my honest opinion on your power is that you have a bottle neck somewhere, on a stock 1j setup with 550cc inj and 3in exh on the dm67 was 431 at 20psi (3rd gear pull), I now have a different 1j and put bc 264 cams and 70ar back housing same turbo and inj and did 471whp and 379tq at 19psi on pump gas 93oct (4th gear pull before fine tuning maybe a couple more horse now). my 1j is a stock bottom end and cams no port polish or nothing and that was on a mustang dyno. My full spool is a lil past 4500rpm. However it looks like your power stays high at high rpm I say open up the back housing and some cams bro.

Let me get this straight, you made 471whp on a 1jzgte setup with 550cc injectors

that sounds strage to me to, my car had a hard time putting down 460 with 700cc injectors. granted i have a smaller turbo and i was pushin 20psi but i was generally tought that 550cc inj. are only good up to 400wheel if you have an excellent tune

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but I always thought that the 550cc injectors could safely make around 450 w/o being past 80% of the injector's duty cycle. That being said 471whp would be possible, just not exactly safe either.

Let me know if my injector math is jacked up.

For the 3liter turbo ...... its roughly 1HP to every CC. In the Lexus world the IS-300's (2JZGE-T) use our 440's as upgrades fyi and regularly push 350rwhp+. I have seen a few that were in the mid 400rwhp with slightly higher fuel pressure and sold tune as daily drivers..... So I laugh when people say I am lucky bc I personally made 391rwhp and 417tq with the 440's/lex afm and I still had some room to play. My fuel pressure set at 32psi (i cant remember). Most people dont understand how to tune but yet they offer advice about what safe? Search ..... google.....yahoo.....ask.com ....etc.
