5.0 stang 1jz swap

My 04 cobra is totaled so i need another car. I was thinking of a 3 gen rx7 1jz but it's expensive. What about a 5.0 stang with a 1jz?

My own opinion of course.......No. I don't really have a good reason why not, but I don't have a good reason as to why either.

oh god no. do something like an older fc rx7 with a 1jz. it will work much better and look nicer too.

do a 1J swap in a pinto. weak engine belongs in a weak car. don't ruin an RX7 by taking out the rotary please!

A piston engine in a RX7 is the only way to fix it IMO.

I like the idea of a JZ in a foxbody, it's original, but when I think mustang I think of torque...

What's with the attraction to the 1JZ?

If you MUST have a 1J, just get yourself a MK2/MK3 supra and go from there...

Everyone hows that only V8s belong in mustangs and RX7s.

2J maybe 1J? 5.0 likes torque, but heck build the 5.0, they are good motors, and they can come IN the car!

1jz weak??? you meant rotary weak, Unless you know how to tune them real good they break, Detonation is the number 1 killer on rotaries, they can make good power but they sure ain't reliable.

If you want to go for speed I would go with the rx7 shit maybe even a miata.
