I'm new to this forum so sorry if this is in the wrong spot.
I'm building a 1jz s13 and my goal for now is 300 to the wheels on the stock twins. I'll let you know what I have so far and please let me know if this is enough.
400lph walboro, larger fuel lines (haven't bought yet -6an?), cheapo FPR, denso Map sensor, manual boost controller, 2.5in intercooler piping, full 3in exhaust, 11 lb flywheel,, OEM spec clutch, w58 trans, stock computer with SAFC.
Anything info would be appreciated.

Idk what your fuel lines are in the s chassis but if there not 3/8ths or -6 id reconemnd that.

Dont cheap out on a fpr. Get a aeromotive.

Denso map sensor? Stock is good to 14psi. You can take the twins to 17-18 but they wont last that long. 14psi and a safc and you should be at about 300 depending on temps.

Id also get a r154. The w58 is about maxed out at 300. You can go higher but it will likely blow esp if abused.

You can get a upgraded clutch from driftmotion.

Couple years ago at a dyno day most people were seeing about 280's but its was 110* out in the middle of summer. On a cooler day would have been over 300 for sure.

Well I figured the w58 would be ok for a little more since I'm in such a lighter chassis, I have to replace the lines either way because Schassis fuel lines are on the opposite side of the engine bay, I didn't think only 14 psi would get me anywere near the 300 mark, I figured I'd be pretty close to maxing the turbos

I had to have rebuilt twins with metal wheels to see just over 300 WHP on stock ECU, 370 injectors 3 inch exhaust and compression was over 170 on each cylinder. I am having that motor rebuilt right now and have another 1J installed with the stock twins, stock ECU, 370 injectors same exhaust and around 150 compression on each cylinder and am only at 250ish to the wheels so check your compression to see what the engine might be capable of. Turning up the boost didn't help the power either and the second engine.
Both also with r154, Walbro and OEM clutch.

What kind of boost did you run on them? Were the metal wheels worth the money?
The metal wheels were good for around 18 PSI but they only put out so much flow and they were around 550 apiece to rebuild.
At the time it was worth it but the rebuild I am doing now is going to be a single swap. I held out for awhile waiting for a cast iron manifold for a single conversion to emerge to no avail except for custom ones like the DM one to slap on a CT26 which you can only get used now, Australian custom ones from old posts, one from Tomei for the VVTI which won't line up and still isn't available yet so I bought a tubular manifold from DM and got a Borg Warner S256 with a T4 from Albert.
Money wise going single could be cheaper or way more depending on what your kit consists of.
Since your goal is only 300 then rebuilding them would be sufficient, talk to Albert about the details for rebuilding the stock twins.

Yea when I'm ready for like 550ish I'll get a obx manifold and put a 6262 on it, I'm mostly going to be drifting the car so the least lag the better, and 300 should be good for now, I'm coming from a Ca18det making 240hp and a open diff, not the torqueiest motor around, so 300 on the JZ should be night and day for me

I don't believe the stock pea shooters would last long while drifting due to being under almost constant boost.

Jill got like 301 hp that day on her stock twin , stock ecu setup.
