2jz to r154 clutch

Hello,

Is this correct? A 2JZ to R154 combo uses a standard 2JZ clutch and flywheel? I just wanted to make sure before spending the money for OS Giken triple plate with the adapter kits. Sorry for the novice question but, the place I'm buying it from does not take returns. Well kinda it's a friend of a friend kinda deal and it would be really embarrassing if I got the wrong clutch. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

No, you need a 1jz flywheel and clutch. The 2jz flywheel and clutch setup is for a w58/v160 which will not work with a r154.

7m/1jz clutch are both he same as well.

just to clarify: 7M-GE / 7M-GTE uses the same clutch as the 1JZ (ie. R154 tranny)...? i'm looking to get a new clutch as well for my 2JZ/R154 combo, and [@kanedog!] its even worse for *me* cos they're no MK3's where i live, so i order the wrong thing, i'm doubly screwed without even the possiblity of offlading it to someone else nearby!!..
