2jz swap

2 questions.

1.i'm putting a 2jzge into my mk3 supra, i went to "jdm" store they get all there stuff from japan, how can you tell on the 2jz if it really is from japan???

2. Becuase i got this so called JDM motor, will this make my swap any harder, if so what kinda problems will i run into????

JDM 2JZGE's are going to be MAP based instead of AFM/MAF based like USDM(depending on year). The JDM 2JZGE's have no EGR system.

Are you planning on running it off the stock 2JZGE ECU? Many members have had great results running the 2JZGE's off 7MGTE electronics, myself included.

Yea thats what I was planing to do, use my stock 7m elcetronics I just wanted to make sure it would still work and if there was anything I had to do drifferent then the usdm motor
