Has since shredded TWO brand new koyo radiators... why? I have no damn clue, the fan seems to be flexing under hard load. Worked fine all summer then this, sits VERY close to radiator... Use at your own risk, I'm off to e-fans now.

I was gonna say that.. At my old place of employment I drove a nissan pickup that would hit the shroud at times.. turns out the waterpump was wobbling like a mofo!

Motor mounts are fine. I'll check the water pump, either way looks like e-fans is the order of the day to sell it.

Dang, sorry to hear about that... I know that with the 1Jand 2J there was very little clearance to work with, with just the stock radiator.

I'm considering some elctric fans for my upcoming 2J swap (yes, again;-).... mixed reviews/feelings. Let us know how it turns out.

Happened to us too.

The fan clears by lots, but heat, engine movement, among other things, and it managed to clip it.

Jason went back to a stock radiator until we can figure it out, that works fine.

935, that's what I'm gonna do is get a stock radiator. Still have good temps with that?

Joe, my harness has no provisions for a hydro fan, and I'd rather perform brain surgery on myself before trying to rewire the car for it. =(

I used the 2J waterpump/fan setup with the 1J and with the 2J, with the stock radiator and never seemed to have any cooling issues.

Although, I did end up with water in the oil on the 2J and think it was a BHG (but I have yet to open it up).
