Wheels:
Sportmax 006 Gunmetal w/ Polished Lip 18" x 9.5" +35 offset
Tires:
Fronts: Dunlop Direzza DZ101 275/35-18
Rears: Dunlop SP SPort 01 DSST RunOnFlat 275/35-18

i'm sure it's been done before, but 275's all around = teh shit! they sit flush up against the fender. idk how people can complain about rubbing issues with 275's up front. The only rubbing i get are on sudden dips, hard braking and super sharp fast turns. other than that, it's all quiet. These things grip. these wheels/tires are awesome, i tore up the freeway a bit on these and wow, they grip nice! I'll probably get my fenders rolled next month...anyway, on with the pictures, sorry, they're crappy cell phone camera pics...i'll take better pics later today when i get ahold of a real camera

MKIII guys can do it too! but I guess i should've use a $1 since it's in better prospective of most MKIII owners. lol.

I'm considering those wheels in 17x9 all around, 255/40R17 tire, and some pics showing the whole car from a little further away would be great. I'm curious how they will look on a white car.

Thanks,
Collin

originally, i wanted to go with black w/ polished lip, but it was on backorder and would take another 2 weeks. i guess i could've waited....but then again...i wanted some new wheels.

lol. didn't know anybody ran these wheels. well if it's any consolation, i originally wanted them all silver, but it didn't come in that size. i got too good of a deal to pass up. tires too. i'm running Run Flat's in the rear.

Looks nice but imo 275 for the front would be too heavy. You can't go wrong with 245/255 for front and it will be lighter and easier on your power steering.

i don't have any problems/complaints w/ the power steering. it feels great. i was discussing it with mister jose valle the other day. he told me to go for 275's all around. so i said screw it, and did it. i trust what he says, and he came through yet again. :)

Maybe it's just me, but those fronts don't look like 275's. They look a little stretched on 9.5" wheels, like more of a 235 or 245 than a 275. But maybe it's just the pictures.

I just noticed that too.

Running bigger tires up front has a tendency to make a well worn front end die a quick death.

Wear on things like bushings (especially upper and lower control arms), and steering racks etc. will be accelerated by bigger wider tires in the front.

That's like saying that making more power is going to wear the drivetrain components quicker.
