This is a little late, I hope everyone can use this, however! Problem being - you have to do it TODAY. It's the last day it's available. Sorry, guys, but maybe some of you can use it!

When at my vet's office the other day, they had fliers up for $20 vouchers for pet services. You go to www.gettothevet.com and print out the coupon. You can only print out one per household/computer, but you mail it in with the receipt from the vet's office, and get $20 back. It's not much, but every little bit helps.

It's also nice to know that there are companies/people out there who realize the humans aren't the only one who will be having a rough time of it with the economy in such bad shape!

The flier is as follows, if you're interested:

"Help ur pet, get to the vet.

During this challenging economy, your pets may be trying to tell you something.

Pets don't really understand this recession. They don't mind if yo start going out less and staying home more - in fact, they prefer it. And they haven't noticed that you have less disposable income, because trips to the park with you are still free.

Unfortunately, they're not always immune to a rough economy. When budgets are tight, some pet owners postpone routine, preventative care for their pets. Sadly, health issues can develop and progress quickly, even with healthy animals, leading to more serious and costly complications down the road.

That's why Advantage Topical Solution by Bayer Animal Health would like to help. This month, we're kicking off a campaign called "Help Your Pet, Get to the Vet." We're donating more than a quarter of a million dollars to help up to 13,000 pets get the important preventative care they need.

Visit gettothevet.com between February 16 and February 28 for a chance to receive one of thirteen thousand $20 vouchers good toward your next veterinary visit. Use it for any preventative care, such as routine visits and vaccinations.

As far as your pets are concerned, recession and recess are the same thing. With your help and regular preventative pet care, we can keep it that way.
