So today we had a dyno day in town decided to throw up some of our local supra's on it

Dyno was a Dynamometer we were told it runs a lot like a mustang dyno

Black Supra did 380whp and 418trq stock twins on 18psi

White Supra did 336whp and 360trq T4 60-1 on 16psi with bad fuel breakup

380 to the wheels is damned impressive. Make me want to keep the twins. Send them to Albert get the larger internals and steel shafts. You guys think 450 on aem with cams is possible with meth injection? Would spool early and still rip overall.

The reason I asked is cause next month I'm goin in for a dyno/tune. I'm installing a bunch of goodies and I was wanting to have an idea of what I COULD be looking at. Below are the mods that I currently have on and a few that are in the process but will all be done by dyno/tune time.

Stock twins ~13-14 psi
stock hydro fan
3" intercooler and piping.
AEM V2 ECU
AEM Wideband w/ failsafe
3" catback (Tanabe hyper Medallion)
Test pipe
Siemens 650cc injectors
Sard FPR
HKS type fuel rail
NGk plugs
Walbro pump 255lph
200 amp alternator
Aluminum radiator

So hopefully that will yield me some good results

You guys have to Remember the dyno was outside, when I did the pulls on dans car (white) it was about 109 degrees out with no fans. These cars could possibly make more in cooler conditions.

Plus you forgot to mention Andrew is one stock 370cc injectors.

So realistically do you think I could get close to 400whp with a good tune and ~18psi?
Sorry for slight thread jack

I'm curious about the black car, his peak number seemed to come in at a very low rpm. Does give credit to my theory that the stock twins choke the crap out of these motors around 5k... Otherwise, nice numbers. :)

Do not push the stock injectors to that level...

Agreed. we had no idea of the power it was lying down and i personally didn't even know it was possible for the twins to lay down power like that. His next mod will be 440's

The dyno did seem to read on the low side for most cars.

one example a 2013 370Z nismo put down 290whp had 4,000miles

That was Jordan's tune not sure what the duty cycle is set to on the injectors.

I can not tune the duty cycle of the injectors with just a SAFC2

I believe you are 100% correct Brad

Another thing that makes me wonder, my car made its peak power at redline. This was with the stock twins, but only at 12ish psi. Kinda makes me wonder then, with higher pressure, if the power would peak out sooner. I'm running a boost controller now, and it hits about a 17psi spike before leveling out to 15psi...

Also could be to the aggressive tune of the mines ecu
