Two things:

-Is that the sound of your tires rubbing on occasion?
-Also, the honking thing when you pass someone, was that just a show of appreciation? Not too familiar with that custom where I'm from. Then again, where I'm from, people don't usually drive courteously, much like that turd in the Audi that was in front of you for a while.
