1jzgte vs. 2jzgte

Looking for some info would someone mind telling me the difference between the bone stock 1jzgte and the 2jzgte engines is?


Have a 1987 Toyota supra with a 7mgte and lookin to swap.

just lookin for some info before i do anything

The 2JZGTE is larger and therefore makes more power in all apples to apples comparisons.

Half a liter and some extra torque through the powerband. If I were doing it again, I'd go VVTI 2j.

Plus, not too many people are going to say "1jz no shit?".
