Still doing it? My 94 Legacy occasionally does this, but only when it's really cold. The only cure for me is to unplug the injectors and crank it over. It appears to overfuel when it's cold. I would check to see if your coolant temp sensor that the ECU reads is within spec. I feel that is the issue with my Subaru, but since it's only very rarely that it does it, I know how to deal with it.

BTW, I just noticed you have a Superhawk, very nice! I have an 06 RC51. I'm your fuel injected brother ;)
