It's about time you got back to work. Lol is it going to make it to the may meet?

That's the plan. Need to reassemble the engine bay tomorrow and should be dropping the motor in on saturday if all goes well.

Updates :)

Did ABS delete with Cunifer brake line and fittings and a Summit prop. valve. Motor is in, just awaiting plumbing, wiring and bodywork.

I really like the sexy green accents throughout the car.. Really make your car different from the rest.. Also i dig those cam gears.. Are those the JUN cam gears or did you make them yourself? By the way my fav color is green so thats why the green is so "sexy" to me..

They're Jun gears. I'm happy with the green, I've probably had too much mountain dew.

May I ask WHY "Did ABS delete" :runaway:

The ABS system in the Mk3 sucks, IMO. It's a fair weather car only and will be seeing a fair amount of track time, so I just got rid of it. If it were a Mk4 I would've just relocated it as I like that system a little better.

i'm really diggin the green too. what coating is on the intake mani and turbo piping? looks awesome

It's a textured black powdercoat. If anybody has questions about powdercoating, just hit me up via PM and I can probably answer most questions. I can't wait to do some wild ceramic coatings when I go single :)

Umm.......ok if that is the way you feel. I happen to be happy with mine and the system works just fine. Now it is not up to par with my V but the car is also 20 yrs. old. Im just not a fan of non-abs cars, that is all. Something about tires locking up at any speed when smashing on the brakes. Been there once before at 80 ish and dont EVER want to go back or have that happen again.

GL with your build. BTW Nice seats ;)

I'll be fine. Good tires and brakes are worth far more than ABS in my book. 99% of the population just has no idea what it's like to drive a car near its limit or how to modulate a pedal. In a daily driver I'd never remove it.

A little bit of progress today. Took some personal time and decompressed after a Cal. 2 test by making some fuel lines. I had an extra couple of feet so I went ahead and made a line for the brake booster, just need to find some clamps for it that aren't terrible to look at.

The fuel pressure regulator is an HKS unit and I've got a digital gauge to monitor my fuel pressure. I just ran a -6 line from the factory hardline to the back of the rail, then from the front of the rail to the regulator.

Random shot of the SC300 alternator I powdercoated wrinkle black. It's a bit beefier than the stock 1jz alt.
