well, not yet, but its going down..just looking for a engine and 5spd r154 tranny, found them from a few places but looking pretty pricey so im still looking for now

Why not an LSx? Too played out? 1JZ is cool but if I had an FD chassis it wouldn't be my first choice of engines.

I saw a nice RX7 in a mag recently with a LS1 swap, which was clean as hell. I agree with rtrdpenguin, the LSx swap would be nice. Which Vancouver? Washinton or B.C.?

It would be my first choie with 1.5 jz or 2j my second....lsx swap does nothing for me

lsx swap is lame. lol, forced induction with big turbo, and strait 6 cyl cant go wrong, rotary was pissing me off cracking a corner seal after 52,000 kms... was going to do a 2jz but decided not to because its alot more work.. can get the 1jz swap done for around $4,000 including the motor and tranny... i made friends with a machinest getting started the second i get the motor and tranny landed at work, i import cars from japan

I agree. I got my clip from him and my motor is still running strong 2 1/2 years later.

People do LS swaps into RX-7s all the time. I could care less if some random guy I don't even know in Australia is putting one into a Supra, I just wanted to know why he chose the 1JZ. Don't assume you know what other people are thinking. :nono:

haha thanks ! importing cars is fun, i get to drive lots of interesting cars.. one of the most memorable was a R32 skyline GTR tuned by MINES
