1jz ecu rebuild ?

hey i have a 1jzgte auto ecu and was wondering if i could buy just any old 1jz ecu or would i half to get one for the car that my 1jz came out of ie a soarer let me know if there are other compatible ecu's ? and if i can hook a 2jzgte ecu up to my wireharness any help is much appreciated

From what I know the jza70, chaser and soarer ecu are different (different plugs). To put a 2jzgte ecu you need a jumper harness that goes from your harness to the ecu. I saw Dr. Tweak sell the jumper harness.

Soarer and chaser are interchangeable. I have chaser ecu and I've been using soarer pinouts. Works flawlessly.

thanks guys for all the help i found out my ecu has a short were injector 2 and 6 witch go to the same pin out im going to send it to driftmotion and have them do a capasitor service see if that fix's the problem ill keep you all posted
