I have a 1jz s13, mainly stock (intercooler, exhaust, safc, 450lph fuelpump, -6 lines, ect.) How beneficial would it be to run e85 on my stock twins? I want them to last as long as possible and I hear high EGTs is what kills them. So would running E85 help them last a little longer? I'm making 317 to the wheels now just under boost cut (14psi-ish) what am I looking at making on e85? Also would consider timing gears and cams as an option. Just don't want to push the twins too hard.

You ideally would need a standalone to properly tune with e85.

You would also need 30-40% larger injectors.

And the stock twins are going to fail at some point no matter what.

I was planning on running 550s which should be suitable, and cam gears for at least a small amount of timing adjustment. So I think I'll be ok with a SAFC.

Most run upwards of 850cc injectors on E85. I would think you would be lucky to push the numbers you are right now with 550s on E85. SAFC is a pretty limited tuning tool, not suited for major change such as this.

Just go single if your worried about it. More power, not much lag and not overly expensive. If you set on keeping the twins, pony up to have the hot sides upgraded when the time comes.
