1jz cutting in my S13

So I have a 1j in my s13 and it keeps cutting fuel. It didnt do it until I hooked up my AFC NEO but I unhooked it and it still does it. I also pot in a Turbo XS fuel cut defender and it didnt help. Do I need to find the Greddy Boost Cut Controller? Or is it something else? Car runs and pulls great until you mash the gas. Anything below 50% throttle is amazing.

Yeah the greddy one for sure. I have a spare hks one they work fine too.

So there is a difference between the Turbo XS fuel cut and HKS fuel cut? I have the Turbo XS one on right now.

Sounds to me like your coils are cracked. Mine did the same exact thing. Put nail polish on the cracks and used a heavy duty heat shrink and took care of my problem....... well until my ecu crapped out
