Recently picked this one up. I've always wanted one. Thinking about getting the parts to do the 9mm conversion

With the cost of surplus ammo going up I can either convert to the cheap 9mm or start making my own from .223/5.56mm cases.

No matter what you think of doing converting to 9mm will be cheaper....you can't reload 9mm as cheap as you can buy it these days! 50 rnd boxes of federal for $11.97 at Walmart...good luck beating that price!

As for surplus rounds Classic Arms has 7.62x25 starting out at 100 rounds for 19.99 and they are reloadable. I'm just getting into reloading but before I spend the money for the eqiupment I'm reading ABC of Reloading.

To do a 9mm conversion on my Tok I will need to drill a hole through my frame for the pin to hold the spacer so I can use the smaller 9mm magazine, a 9mm barrel from a Norico 213 with linkage and a barrel bushing. What really sucks it that all of that cost as much as I paid for the Tok.
