So I finally took my built motor to the track, and just one and only pass made I ran a 14.2@ 107mph. This was on about 17 PSI on my new turbo. My 60ft. was 2.4, and I did not launch hard out of the hole at all. This turbo is barely alive at 17PSI.

My MAFT is acting up all the time, and I have to get to the bottom of it soon as I still hit fuel cut around 18PSI...

I'm kinda dissapointed with the time I ran, but it's all about tuning and fuel cut. I was thinking about getting some 272 cams so I can use more turbo on the top end, but are cams really worth it? Regrinds that is.

My turbo goes full boost at 3.5K RPM. It's big.

I will look into slicks for use Tomorrow at the track...

If you end up doing cams I'd say do the valvetrain and possibly a port polish, that way ya squeeze every bit outta the head, eventually a FFIM if you don't have one yet. Slicks will help a lot and ya gotta get a good launch, no matter how much power ya got the driving makes or breaks it. Thats a good trap for such a high time, means ya got a lot of high end pull in it. Good luck, and have fun.

ya, my friend with exhaust, filter, lex 550s spiking 14 lbs and dropping to 9lbs with no tuning ran a 13.8 @ 99. with street tires and a 2.01 60' and he still isnt that great at launching. you should be able to go much faster then that.

At 107 you should be in the upper 12's with a 1.8 sixty foot time. Tires and launch hard, run the dog shipe out of it.

I have not managed to do any better. You guys laughing at him is making me feel pretty aweful. I will keep working at it. I think I can get it up with a few more modifications to the car.

I managed a 14.3 @ 106 with a 2.4 60'. i thought it was funny how close our times were. i couldnt launch to save my life. and it kept breaking up around 5500. this was on a stock 7m with an hks mls. 550/lex maf and safc running a cxr t61 at 13 psi.

that is fact

I did a 12.9 at 105mph with 1.6 sixty foot on ET streets. Car made 343whp on the dyno the next day with pretty well same heat/humidity.
