I noticed that my setup gets leaner as the boost increases (22psi compared to 26psi). Is this inherent with the Lex AFM/550's? Just wondering if this is caused by either:
1. the billet 7-blade 60-1 style turbo compressor is more efficient at higher boost?
2. one of my dual walbros may not be working, and leaning out near 500hp?

Your probably leaning out because your running 550s. I'm sure they're running at their limit. You need larger injectors or more water/meth injection.

On my old setup(lexAfm/AFC/550's), I started running lean at around 500rwhp too. Not sure if it was because the fuel running out or the AFM maxing out.

Thats some good pickup on the top end. It must feel nice. My old 1jz car was like that. I couldn't get it out of the hole at all, but it gained 28mph on the big end.

You are definatly running the ragged edge of those 550's at 500+ HP. Time to get some larger ones, but I dont think the stock ecu and AFC will be up to the task, so an EMS is the next step.........oh wait....., I think I hear a snowball rolling!!!.

Good job with the numbers, and that was a great race we had, maybe a re-match this friday at Mission raceway?

Was a fun race! I'm still trying to figure out why your car pulled on mine at the end of the track with 50hp/100tq less, but I'm guessing it is the difference in weight combined with the drag of my bodykit, no undercover and no fender liners?

Yes, I'm at the notorious HP ceiling, where I'd need to spend a whack of dough to squeeze any more power of the the 3.0L: Built engine, injectors, clutch, standalone, etc. I'm not too keen to give up my smooth-as-stock clutch for another 6-puck. It's rated at crank 522tq, and I'm pushing it already!

good shit man !!

nice times.

Up the fuel pressure to get more out of the 550's if you don't want to change them

Set your base fuel pressure to 45-50.

how'd you get past the fuel cut? use a HKS FCD?

50psi base fuel pressure, and the AEM meth kit adds fuel as well, let me pulll about 22% fuel on the SAFC to avoid fuel cut!

This setup and tune has been awesome and totally reliable on the street!

I really want to jump onto the newer turbocharger bandwagon. I am just stuck in the world of if it aint broke don't fix it. My current turbo is in perfect condtion and makes it hard to justify buying a new one. Hmmmm.
