    HKS MHG vs. Cometic

    So, I had HKS 1,2mm and had 520whp, then had fuel problems and engine gone. Got new one, bought titan motorsport 2.0mm hg and blew it in a week, changed it to 2.0mm hks bead now it is 2 years since then, car is still in everyday use, has 505whp map, still working like swits clock.

    now I`m shure that it `ll be 02 GS300, LHD but there are only NON vvti JDM engines avaliable on the market right now, if only I knew where to get one USDM VVTi auto with harnes and ecu. Need more instructions, how to make it work and what problems I`ll be facing.

    with the gs300 (2jz-ge stock) go na-t is not really good idea, my opinion, gte engine with stock twins is fine for me, gte engine allso has metal HG in standard. is200 has inline 6 is200rs JDM has inline 4 with 200hp, not available in europe. shame.

    cant find multi disk clutch less than for a 2k for my setup so desided to order a rebuild for a rps 6 puck. If it didnt blow up during few years driving around on the street, so I think it will live longer than few drag race events.

    yep the rps setup is not street friendly, but I still manage to drive it arond the town and do not find any trouble to deal with it. Only if I get stuck in a traffic jam it is a little problem, cause after 10 minutes I feel like a old man that can not press the clutch:icon_bigg Now got used to...

    MK3 I have the RPS 3200 w/ 6 puck sprung disc and Fidanza flywheel. (520whp & 506ft lbs @ the wheels) It is now about 5000miles old, never got to the strip, street driving only, but next season going to try drag events with MT drag radials and I think that clutch will slip, still looking...

    it spins all theway, cant be tightned. knock is on idle and till 3,5k rpm
