    3270 lbs street car

Not bad! I have been considering having some lighter bumper supports made that secure my bumper better and lose some weight, but don't really think it's worth it haha. I also do still have all my sound deadening, carpet, speakers, etc, which might go in the near future. Honestly, the car...

    Version 3: 2JZ HX40 NA-T

Is there a way I can change the title of this thread? I've changed my setup but figure this might as well be my "build thread"

    3270 lbs street car

Weighed the car today! It's an 89 Targa with 2JZ/single/standalone with rear seats and rear hatch interior panels removed (the rest of the interior is intact). No ABS, extra wiring, or other BS in the engine bay and a tiny little dry cell battery. FRP bucket seats, lightweight suspension arms...

Can anyone out there build me a new 7mgte engine harness?

What components do you plan on keeping and what are you getting rid of? It's not brand new, but I have a gray plug 89+ harness I removed cruise control, EGR, IACV, cold start injector, etc from and replaced old brittle wires with new ones left over from my last engine setup. It just has the...

R154 clutch for moderate-high TQ and hard use?

No slipping, and free play as within spec. I'm more concerned about the cost of a twin disc or V160 than anything else... at this point I might as well have saved up for a MKIV haha. Kind of hoping there's some magical single disc I haven't heard about that people have had success with.

Anyone in the mk3 community into drifting?

It's not ideal, but it can do it

R154 clutch for moderate-high TQ and hard use?

I currently have a singled 2JZ and an ACT 6-puck spring clutch with the HD pressure plate (TS2-HDG6) and it holds fine driving around doing pulls on sticky tires at low and high boost (~350 rwtq and ~400 rwtq). However, I welded two of the six pucks badly to both my flywheel and pressure plate...

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

The x10.5 +27 will hit the lower A-arm up front even with a smaller tire. The inside lip of the wheel will hit since it's too far in at full lock, even on stock steering angle. It's probably ok to notch the flattened welded section of the a-arms though, I'm probably going to do it to mine to...

    2JZ NA-T 475/403 on 6262 @ 17.4 psi

Did the cams help above 6500 with the .68 housing? I'd like it to continue making power up there but am not sure I want to switch to a larger housing haha.

    2JZ NA-T 475/403 on 6262 @ 17.4 psi

I have an intake manifold and larger TB, but honestly am not sure what it does to the powerband since I never had the stock stuff on there. I kind of wish I went with a real TT, cams are a lot easier to find for those haha. I also have a video, but this is on 14 psi (~400 rwhp) and a lame...

    2JZ NA-T 475/403 on 6262 @ 17.4 psi

Sorry, no videos. I forgot to take any haha. It revs to 8, but as you can see it stops making power before that. It's just nice to have extra rev range to avoid having to shift in some situations. I run the .68 A/R, but might switch to the divided .86 down the road.

    2JZ NA-T 475/403 on 6262 @ 17.4 psi

The engine is pretty much stock. I have ID1000s, the AEM, and the usual exhaust/intercooler/etc. The 6262 is responsive, I like it.

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

For reference, I now have 17x10 +20 wheels on all 4 corners with 295/35/r17 tires Pulled fenders at least 1" in the front and 1/2" in the rear, -1.7 deg camber F and -3 deg camber R for now. More pull in the rear is definitely needed for the -1.5 degrees I'm shooting for. Ride height is...

This thing is still boss as hell. Glad to see some progress! I'm jealous of your front upper A-arms, did you make them?
