i think it would be cool to put together a 7m powered mk2 drag car to go on the show pinks. a fast one could be built relatively inexpensively... completely gutted and stripped of non drag racing required items.
is it possible at all to swap mkIII suspension into an mk2? would that be...
actually.. I only did this as a joke.. but if we get enough signatures we can forward it to toyota haha....

but thats not why im posting this. I trust you will all will find it.
between the starter and transmission there is a metal shim which is attatched to the engine and is sandwhiched between parts of the engine and the tranny. if i forgot to put it on, can i just cut off the part for the starter and use it as a shim without the parts sandwhiched between the engine...
Um ok, so it seems to me that the fitting for the master and slave cylinders are the same, is this true? is the threading the same? the size seems indetical.
HEY!! ok... so im coming up to a problem.. ive got the new master and slave clutch cylinders ordered, should be in tomorrow. but i dont want to use my old lines as the fittings are sezed on the old cylinders... instead of buying stock ones, i want to make some. i was thinking of using SS braided...
so im trying to take my wiring harness off, and theres one last wire going down under the heat shield of the exhaust manifold.. it might be some sort of oil pressure sensor or somethign? anyway how do you get it off?
ok... so i bought this new car, and stupid me negelected to look at the frame rails. i look at them later and it looks like someone before me drove it really hard over a curb and the frame rails near the rear of the car are pushed up a bnit, like pretty bunged up.

Ya... so since i'm relatively new here and like the idea of an online community not just an anonymous internet board, let's all post pictures of ourselves... i'll be brave and go first... tell as a little about yourself too..
im 20, live in a suburb of Vancouver and have an 87T hardtop that...
ok.. i've searched through SM and SF alot and found everything i can find on doign a 5 speed swap, but it usually refers to someone who is gonna still use their auto ecu. i have a wiring harness and ECU from a 5 speed car. in fact, i have an entire 5 speed car and a good auto car.

i wonder why anybody would work on a car with leather pants unless they were a cowboy. rubber pants just doesnt make sense to me. batman never seemed like a do-it-yourselfer.
haha oh now te trick is on...
i have an 88t, its at the very back near the tail lights... plugged into the wiring harness... i have no clue what it could be... is it to detect a blown out tail light?
so... i need to strip my rear end for welding/bodywork... so the gastank has got to go. how do i disconnect the lines/block them off before dropping the tank? or do they have slack so i can drop the tank then deal with the lines? is there a page in the tsrm for this? ahh i dont wanna end up with...
heh.. well.. almost... my inner wheel whells are fucking GONE like you can see from the interior of the hatch to the wheels... i felt around inside and the strut tower seems to be pretty solid except wher it gets close to where the metal meets the inner wheel well... my dad is going to bring...
