    Did you ever sort this phasing timing? I figured it to be 1 600, 5 0, 3 120, 6 240, 2 360, 4 480. 1 0 5 120 3 240 6 360 2 480 4 600 So if it compresses gas at 600 it ignites at 120 degrees forward which is 720 aka 0, and if spark is 120 then gas before 120 is 0 and so on 120 degrees of...

    Turbo hitting frame

That makes it an inch high does it clear the hood when the turbo is mounted....I am thinking that obviously it does since it is mounted in there right. If you have no hood clearance issues I have a 1" spacer sourced.

Shimming the bypass spring on the oil pump

MY idle pressure was at 25 psi shimmed on my rebuild with a new OEM pump. My tolerances for the crank and mains were tight clearances from the machine shop. I had to take the crank out due to breaking the crank pulley bolt this month, and after inspecting my mains and rods the berings looked...

    Turbo water line connections

Explain I looped mine please. I currently am thinking of using the tube that sends the coolant to the throttle body by welding a an fitting, and toying with tapping the inlet pipe from the lower radiator, or welding a fitting on the return to the top of the radiator on the drivers side where the...

    2JZGE oil relocation fitting

I am helping a friend relocate the oil filter, and I have had major success with the 7MGTE doing this. I was able to add 4 quarts of oil with a 13 row cooler bringing my oil total to 9.5 quarts. What block fitting would I get for the block sandwich adapter for the 2JZGE oil filter housing...

need help on my my exhaust studs the spin and spin and don't lock

That's true......to do what I did you have to have the original stud holes. I never was into making a bigger hole to but inserts in when you can just retap the next size thread. A stud is a stud so why get caught up if it is metric or not. The 7/16" stud is the next best logical thread size to...

need help on my my exhaust studs the spin and spin and don't lock

All I did was buy 7/16" studs and did not have to drill anything. With the 7/16 studs I have no issues for 6 months now. I went to Pep Boys got 7/16 coarse stud with the other end fine for torquing. I tapped using a 7/16 coarse tap without having to drill out anything since the 7/16 tap...
