Look guys I wanna do the right thing. I'm gonna research more also if you can link the one your talking about I'll read it. I'll get a jdm ecu no prob. I just need to read more.. Thx, oh ya even if I did f things up I wouldn't dis this engine I would take it as a learning experience..
I've found one and It was 10 sections long. I read the whole thing it's a 50/50 of what will happen. I'm kinda leaning towards the Cali model being the one that will be affected by this?
The thing im tring to figure out is, the top of the throttle body on the jdm has one vac port an the us throttle body has two ports. I not gonna use egr, is that why the us one has two ports for?
I been reading and i think that since it was upside down thats why i got oil in the housings... If anyone know let me know so i can put this to rest, thx...
Whats up,
So i have a ct26 57 trim turbo. I followed the tsrm and put oil in the oil drain to splash the bearing. I left the turbo sitting upside down and came back maybe 1 hr later and notice oil leaked out into the exhaust side housing. I dont know, i read that this will happen if done...
Oh ya on cyl #1 I measured the piston and I came up with a .009 piston to wall clearance. I might have to take another measurement cause I was kinda in a rush, had to leave for work.
So, the TSRM I found a o/s which should be for a .020 bore and it's says limit 3.296 an the worst cylinder is #1 which is 3.293 at the top. So I'm good? I think/hope..... I really don't care to re bore it to .030 but if it's still good than why bother.
Im a novice to this, my cylinder bore is .020 over stock which i believe stock is 3.267 and i should be 3.287. my worst cylinder #1 is 3.293 at the top so i have a differance of .006 here. I guess im looking to go .030 over now?
