The tank will not move around. There are two straps w/ bolts holding it up. That 'nipple' and 'lump' in the tire well can be cut and welded flat without any negative outcomes. Unless you actually use the spare wheel.. But if you do decide to cut and weld be sure to remove your fuel tank.

I cut and welded the tire well flat so I could relocate my battery down there. The fuel tank wont get in the way.

I eat about a can of spam a month... Today I packaged up my AEM v2 so I can ship off to be repaired. Oh, and I was supposed to go to my dyno app today but my baby is missing her brain.

Yea we have been talking lately and he says agrees that I should send the box in for inspection/repair. I was just wondering if there's any way to test the ecu myself. I don't want to wait another 4 weeks and waste money on shipping if the unit is still good.

Update: I put in my stock ecu and stock ignition sys and successfully got spark. I then plugged in my AEM and did not get spark, even with a fresh .cal file. The AEM internals are the only thing that I now suspect to be the problem. Is there any way of testing the AEM drivers without...

JEEZ. That's a lot of oil thats disappearing. Definitely check your plugs and do a comp test yourself.

What exactly do you mean by "cracked" ??

Shes not firing up, I tried the AEM and the stock ecu. I wired in the stock ignitor, and coils. I grounded the coils to the head and now Im getting a code 14. (no igf signal) I thought those black wires are grounds. wtf.
