I had the same problem and I ended up having to switch the two wires that raise and close. Get your electrical diagram and switch the two wires on the one going different than your switching.
yeah yeah i know its a jeep tranny but i need some info if Anyone has one apart laying around i need a gear teeth count on all the gears on the counter shaft please.
Good luck man! I hope to have mine bolted together by then so I can drop in and start on motor mounts. Intake and harness should be in Friday so I've got lots to keep me busy!
I'm no metal physics expert but since every company uses ball bearing or bronze I'm gonna guess bronze like ij describes above ^^^ for heat dissipation and its softer to absorb deflection in this application without breaking or making damaging shavings
Give me od, id, depth in mm and ill get the bearing. I've been waiting to get mine closer together to get proper measurements but if you've already got it figured out I can get it. I work maintenance at a food processing plant and we have thousands of bearings in stock and we can cross reference...
Look for my ls/154 post. I asked exact same questions not more than two months ago :)
I've just obtained the main parts for this and I've got my tranny tore apart at the moment so it'll be awhile before I get down
To the nitty gritty on the rest of this swap.
Does the Novak/ chev bellhousing have the exact same dimension as your advance adapter setup?
Idk if I'm clear......like straight edge off front of the bell/ measure how much input is sticking past that imaginary line?
