Bad Syncro? Scratching my head here.

Yeah Chris I was actually considering just doing the rebuild since the transmission has over 300k on it. And even if the shift fork isn't bent, wouldn't hurt to have a fresh one right? I called the Toyota junkyard and they have a used w58 for $550. I'd much rather spend $320 for the rebuild kit...

Bad Syncro? Scratching my head here.

Thanks a ton for the input guys. New fork from Toyota was less than 50$! Best news I've heard from the parts department. As soon as it started popping out I quickly changed my driving style to hopefully save those syncros, I guess I'll find out soon.

New(ish) mk3 owner in the PNW

Phew sorry about the wait guys, I've been about as busy as the amount of time it took me to get back on here. So I wasn't very photo-happy with my Nascar, I mean, Supra when I got her for obvious reasons. There will definitely be more recent pictures soon since I'm taking her down to the rod...

New(ish) mk3 owner in the PNW

Howdy ladies and gents. My names Kyle and I rescued my 86.5 from a neglecting owner back in April (the guy duct taped a "cold air intake" in there for starters). So this has been my new love, and the longest relationship I've been in so far:biglaugh:! Anyways its been smooth sailing with...
