    2jzgte vvti swap

That's actually old pricing. New harnesses are $999 manual, and $1199 automatic. They will be on sale for 10% off retail. So a new auto harness would be $1079. If your Supra is a 91-92, you do not need to send me anything. If it's 1990 or older, I would need your original 7M harness as a core.

AEM, 1zz cop install, please help

OK, first things first...DON'T GIVE UP!!!! :) You just need to know who to ask! Since you're running an AEM with a 4 pin COP setup, you're going to get your tach signal from the ECU...not the COPs themselves. Now, you have a 12V switched, and a ground, which has already been covered. Now...

What date did the 89 become the 89.5?

You're correct. The circuits throughout 1989 are all the same, which is what you stated, so yes, the wiring is the same. The pin position for two wires on the interior body plugs are different half way through the year. Specifically the B1 body plug. Check out an early 89 pin out versus a...

A Few Questions about my Swap

Nope, still requires converting. 1JZs into MA70s are not like a Soarer 1JZ into an SC where all you need to do is repin it and extend it (in additional to adding in a few circuits) You're still going to have to spend some time doing the wiring so that everything still works. -Cam, Tweak'd...

clean swap wiring and engine bay ideas?

All of our NEW harnesses are routed like this. Regular conversions, where we use the JZ core harness remain in factory layout, i.e. coil branches run from front to back, versus back to front like in this picture. -Cam, Tweak'd Performance

    Am I missing something?

Lyle, That is the park/neutral position switch connector that you're trying to plug into the igniter. Your igniter connectors are down inside the car by the ECU. You will have a 12 pin, a 4 pin, and a light gray 2 pin connector, which will plug into the 3 spots on you igniter bracket. The...

    Wiring the 1UZ-FE into a Pre-89 Supra

1992-1994 SCx00 are the same and 1995-1997 SCx00 are the same. In 1998 they started running the VVTi versions of both the 2JZ-GE and 1UZ-FE. For the purpose of putting a 1UZ into an MA70 chassis, the small changes in 1UZ harnesses is irrelevant.

    Map sensor question

Start simple. pull your codes. Then, once you have fixed any issues there, if the problem still persists, it will be easier to diagnose. You don't want to just start throwing parts at it *hoping* the problem goes away.

    2JZGTE - VVTi in a Ma70 chassis.

There are 2 or 3 pins that are different between an Aristo VVTi and Supra VVTi GTE ECU. Figure out which ECU you are going to run, then adjust the harness accordingly. OR, you can set the harness up for a Supra ECU, that way if you ever do decide to run a Supra ECU instead of the Aristo, the...

86.5 NA to 1JZ swap help..

If you keep the engine mostly stock, you'll have no problem reliably driving that car daily. A friend of mine has a stock 1JZ swap in his SC300 and daily's the car. Also, another friend has a 1JZ big single Kouki S14 that he dailys. 400whp there! No problems. Take your time, spend the...
