    Emilio's NewRedSupra

Good deal, amazing what a good (or bad) rad cap can do. I'll try to PM you sure. Yeah I've had a MKIV for a few years now after selling all the MK3's, but been shopping lately another MK3 roller for a SBC swap project I want to do :)

Good to see you're still in the game Emilio, nice ride you picked up there! So what turned out to be the issue with the overheating? Maybe it was just a poorly burped cooling system or a bad radiator cap? You said the coolant looked weird, I was thinking bad thoughts.... Oh and I still have...

Emilio's Rebuild & Improvement Build Thread

Emilio if you need anything let me know, being local I have tons of extra parts OEM and aftermarket. I was just explaining to Figgie how you and I met back in Owatonna like 6 years ago (bought a R154 from you) LOL. Then your bro came over to pick up the interior, that's last I heard LOL. I...

great to hear! Hmm pig rich now... and you are on stock AFM/electronics. Maybe check your CSI (cold start injector) switch or whatever it is. Last time my supra was stock, it ran rich due to a failed one of those. Otherwise check all of your IC piping maybe you have a leak/crack.

I had a few spare ct26's but sold them, been on the TD06 for a while. I have all the custom piping/lines/DP so won't be taking the turbo out sorry. Someone must have a spare ct26 sitting around, or post in wanted. Hopefully you can then take what is left of the summer here and try another...

That damn turbo, what a curse. I thought you had already tried another turbo (not just a rebuild) to handle the oil smoke issue, guess not? I'd ask Jim if you can have his ct26 or get one from a member on here for like $100 and run your car for a while to see if that eliminates the oil smoke...

ttt Also make sure an oil line isn't spraying on the exhaust or something weird like that. Is the smoke constant at all rpms? only when you turn? only at WOT? 7000 miles in 2 years, I envy you :)

Did you clean the entire intercooler/intake piping? that blown turbo you had could have pooled a ton of oil in there. And the engine rebuild may not have touched the intercooler and some piping. Otherwise you are having really bad luck! B

What to do about oil pressure sender

The greddy kit comes with a foot of stainless line for the block. Then the remote sender can be installed by the AFM or wherever. Looking at the sender no way would I install that straight on the block, it would melt :)

    mbc & boost gauge

Well you can go mechanical or electric on the boost gauge and MBC. Mechanical is cheaper and sounds like would be a good start for you across the board. Search to find out the differences. Then do a search on wastegate signal/reference/install procedures and you'll find tons of ways to tap...

    oil pressure sendor????

Toyota for the OEM dash gauge to work. Or you could go with the Greddy setup which replaces the stock sender (fits the block) and has a gauge.

    Constant Adjustment of A/F Levels

did you do the 12v constant fuel pump mod? not sure if that would mess with ya or not with your setup.

    inline fuel pump question

I would say go with the -6AN fuel line as you thought, but just do a dual walbro setup and leave everything else as-is? I believe someone makes a custom dual walbro fuel tank mount? You could install an inline fuel filter then too and get rid of the stock one. Oh and I have a fuel line kit...

    Oil pressure sensor question

autometer sells a little adapter for aftermarket oil pressure gauges, or if you get the greddy oil pressure gauge kit it works as-is - no adapter needed. Also check to see if the wire fell off your stock sender first, you may not need to do any of this. Not sure how a stock oil pres gauge just...
