Pulled all the plugs, pistons look good, oil looks okay too. I changed the hose, changed the coolant, changed the oil, and have been letting it run till it heats up and everything seems fine..... Going to go cruise around the neighbourhood and see if anything happens, no signs of a bhg so far...

That wouldn't surprise me, long time with super high temperature and aluminum wouldn't do me any favours. I guess the heads probably warped now and the car will in that case behave like a bhg?

Also, I realize it's not generally a good idea to shut the car off when it's overheating but there was no pressure in the coolant lines and the whole damn system sprayed itself out on the highway... Now the car will start, but barely idles and sounds like shit.

I realllllllllly hope you guys are right. I just ordered a new coolant hose set, another rad cap, and the driftmotion 67mm turbo kit. I'll bolt all this up, run through EVERY coolant hose and change the coolant again. Hopefully this fixes it!

Sorry for all the questions, but am I going to run into any issues removing and then reinstalling the head? I think so long as I make sure everything is clean, and i clean off the mhg, reusing it and my arp's won't pose any problems?
