Ok, so I've been through every wiring diagram I can find for mk3 89 pre and post.
Searched for a couple of days.. figure i'd make another thread.. Toymods got me close. noone has a mk3 diagram made so when I get the info i'll make an easy cheat sheet.
a340 is I believe 90+ and I made a...
They were straight -6 followed by some 90s to a Can, then to the turbo intake. not sure how they ever got stripped. I guess I could try tapping them for -8 and the oring trick. but I feel like I wont get away from the issue unless I just make it permanent. I hate redoing things over and over...
Since you have a handy Tig shop at your dispense, I dont know how many people have had this problem.. But my AN fittings on my valvecovers came loose.. and started spitting oil all over my enginebay during boost.. :-0 So I am having to get those tigged on next go around. Loving the Borg...
I see any ARP bolts being reusable. If you ever have a motor tore down far enough for new rings/bearings.. whynot? their not that expensive. Take the time and make it fresh. I have a 6m Crank in my 7m.. I believe it was pretty common and IIRC is a Stock fit so should just be PNP.
How much...
AEM V2 Supports Autos with older firmware 01v24 yet not E85 and Vic versa New Firmware dosen't support autos and supports e85. Any standalone you get AEM/Haltech/Proefi Will be able to Support your Auto. Just verify what their Support/tuning is on each. So far I've learned AEM has crap...
I know it seems silly but have you done a resistance/ohms test on your wiring?
I'm about to run a V2 Is300 coils/DH61 ign. did you switch because you were running out of spark? just wondering the switch
Grew up in Tulsa and I still haven't met many Supra guys around. very clean. Tell us how you like your 4l80e, I'm also in a huge debate for a gm trans with/without an overdrive due to cost and weight..
Thanks for the info.. some of my friends Run Royal purple. My teacher ran Amsoil synthetic race oil..I used to do oil research and just ended when i got into one arm bandit, falex test and someone on one of the forums used to send his oil samples in every couple of oil changes for...
Lol I'm scared to say a big debate topic so don't let this roll one, I've heard hard breakins right out of the box. do you have an idea or plan for one?
I had the pump/same crossover.. I deleted my squirters and didn't regret it.
I've never researched that oil before.. 15w-50 sounded soo bad...
So what are you doing with the squirters? I saw a picture not sure if the looked new or plugged? I didn't see your crossover tube either figuring your going to change that to get rid of the banjo bolt? looks great so far.
oil rod bearings and oil use info
Sixpack made a smaller oil pump...
you can go Stock ecu and use a MAP ecu, with a Suprastick.
Or you can go full standalone and proefi 128 or something like sidewinder stated. by that point of wiring I'd just save for a Proefi..
Hard to see some pinholes up top sometimes.. I don't see anything wrong with those welds at first glance(on bottom)...
Could be a problem on top
Could always run the car at idle and carefully feel around the exhaust area while its cold.. have a 2nd person blip the throttle once or twice see...
Burp the system properly.. research it, also like stated earlier check your Radiator cap.. if you really want to you should pull out your Thermostat.. I see NEW ones bad all the time... I normally get a 180* Thermostat.. and test it in hot water first.. I suggest taking that bad boy out...
