    Replacement for a supra?

Actually the 2 series is high on my list as well. Seems like the camaro has more value for money though. And I had thought your car was a 250 originally. How hard was the swap? A7mgerunner: hahaha I know what you mean!

    Replacement for a supra?

Both. Sporty but also has to have decent power (350-450hp). Rwd and manual a must. Nothing put a smile on my face like the rear end of my supra getting squirly coming out of a corner.

    Replacement for a supra?

Hey guys, If you could have another car thats similar to a supra (manual, rwd, sporty), what would it be? I've been a toyota fan forever (2 supras, celica, corolla, 2 land cruisers), and now that I make enough money to where I can build my dream mk3, Im wondering if the headaches and time...

My Other Car Hobby - Tall n Slow

The lexus uses a air/hydraulic suspension which to my knowledge is not ideal for off-road. Also, most of these rigs have 200+ miles on them, and that seems to be the time where a lot of the lx suspensions start failing. At that point they are expensive to fix. People swap to a Land cruiser...

thinking of a gun to buy..

Abe, thats a sweet looking pistol. If you can conceal carry it, props to you. Te72, its whatever your comfterable with. Even my sub-compact hk is a bit too thick for me to carry at times, my other is a m&p bodygaurd 380 in a N82 holster.

thinking of a gun to buy..

The sig is a sweet pistol. One of those things that it might hurt paying $1000 for a gun, but youll likely still enjoy it 10 years down the road. When I just got into guns about three years ago and came into a gun shop, the two guns that I was really impressed with were the Sig p226 and the HK...

thinking of a gun to buy..

Its funny how when I am buying or thinking of buying a pistol, I often get recommended to try out a glock. When I say "no thanks, Im not a fan of glocks", I get looked at like I just said something crazy. Nothing against glocks, just not my thing. The grip angle isnt for me, and I prefer...

Gonna try to get back in the supra game

Thanks Jeff. Last time I was on SM, I believe you had gotten a new is250 manual which was cool to read up on. Was that you?

thinking of a gun to buy..

I also like a hammer fired gun. I love my HK p30sk. A part of it is that when holstering, I like to keep my thump on the hammer, ensuring the trigger not gonna get pulled back by being caught on something. Another part is I like the fact that a hammer fired gun has double strike capability...

Gonna try to get back in the supra game

Hey guys, Thinking of getting another supra in the near future (wifey is cool if I get one as soon as I am done remodeling the house :icon_bigg). I had an 87 turbo - sold around 05, and an 89 turbo sold around 2011. I had gotten married and with a new baby I had no time for a sports car...

    Finally found the RIGHT ONE.

Congrats!! I sold my supra about a year ago because I needed a better DD, so I bought my dream truck, a 04 Dodge Ram diesel. I love my truck but a day doesn't go by that I don't miss my supra! When the time is right I was a hardtop and do 2j swap, cant wait.

    Rear Coolant Hardpipe Leak?

I have a good coolant hardline I could sell you if you needed one, pm me if you do. By the way, I thought it was possible to take the hardline off with the exhaust manifold off, or am I wrong? I don't have a supra anymore so I don't have a motor to look at.

    The Great Tool Debate

Its the open end wrench that I had that problem with. I still think that for home use, you cant beat the price and availability of craftsman. But at work where tools get the crap beaten out of them on a daily basis, I need to have a "broken craftsman too drawer." Mostly its their sockets the...

    The Great Tool Debate

Craftsmans lazer etched sockets are ok, untill it wears/fades off lol, and the chrome is a joke, it sucks that they are so poor on quality now. I bought a set of craftsman wrenches recently and had to grind down the 7/8 wrench on the open side just to fit nuts/bolts.

    The Great Tool Debate

Cornwell ftw!!! lol I was really looking into going into the tool franchise business, considered cornwell, snap-on, matco, and mac. IMO, from all the research I have done, cornwell snap-on and mac are pretty much identical in how they are manufactured, snap-on and mac are pretty close in prices...
