i would start witht he cheaper stuff and work my way up. start with intak, and hard pipeing, rims/tires, exhast, then head work, maybe new intercooler, and turbo, but i would do head work befor all of that. then move on ect...

could be anything, mine did this, and it was just a ::bhg:: i tought the whole motor was done and i had to replace it.

i donno on this one, i noticed a huge gain when i put on my intake on my MK3, but i also did hard pipeing all the way around. also, my truck, (80 GMC shortbed, with a simi built vett 350) there was a huge differnve when i rain a intake hose to the frount grill. but this is just IMO

i like the 1jz, but as boost fiend said, its gonna cost alot to build. then again you have the 2jz which is a swsome motor. but then is gonna cost ya alot for the motor, and then some to build. so depending on money, and the way it sounds, stick with the 7mgte, once you do the ::bhg:: thing...

i would get you a good volt meter, and check all of the fuse's that way. you can have a fuse that looks good but is really bad. you can see if a fuse is open or not. you can find out how to do this on the internet i am sure. later justin

IMO-if it was me, and i was doing it, i would just spend the coin on a new HG. that way there is NO chance of it being bad in some way. take it or leave it. but thats my $.02 later justin
