ok i routed the heater VSV vacumn line directly about year and half ago since it went bad and i needed the heat....everything worked fine,,,it constantly blew hot air like all of you guys said....
but recently my car died out on me and i tried to install a MAFT and AFC....so all i touched was...
THANKS GUYS.....after putting in a new AFM it was still like that...so i went ahead and redid all my IC pipes....and THAT WAS THE PROBLEM...the lower IC Piping which is hardpipes for me. the clamp on turbo was loose and guess it was flexing a little so it blew off when i rev it...but it looked...
ok i wired up the problem is still there ....shit heres the story
ok..yesterday while i was driving on the highway...about to pass someone...when i hit the gas...car stutters and has no power...CEL comes on and goes off but as i try to gas it again..no power....so i had to carefully limp...
thanks...so all setttings would be at zero...is that theproper selection for stock when everything off and base at two? aux at zero too? to elimnate fuel cut aux is going to be at c?
yeap i have everything needeto run the MAFT. i just need to know how would i sset itup so it runs like stock so it can move out and wait like maybe a motn so i have time to take it to dyno. so i would just set all settings to zero. and for stock injectors 440, would th e base be set at 2, aux...
i know its not hard....wiring seems pretty simple and i have the instructions so yea...only thing i'm worried about is the intial setup, my afm died out and i don't wanna spend money on getting a new one if i have the MAFT in hand. if i have a stock car with just hardpipes, FMIC, full 3 inch...
how about the 12278...it looks somewhat smaller tips...or can i just add other tips to it? i'm not sure if the 3 inch is too big...is it noticeable with the 3 inch tip that the exhaust is modified?
hey where do you guys pick up your flanges for exhaust? like i don't want my entire exhaust welded...i want to be able bolt and unbolt the cat...and then theres the midsection after the cat...to the bolt section for the muffler...i want to be able to switch exhausts and not have it welded...not...
3.5 inch tip still seems very big....i live in CA and i just got pulled over for modified exhaust...almost got sent to state ref...luckiliy he didn't kno i had no CAT...i want tips that are about 2.5 or 3 inch maybe?
the magnaflow 12298...that looks decent...i might go foor that one...anyone else?
ok..i'm looking at getting a dual tip magnaflow to make my exhaust look stock...but all the ones i see i don't like how the tips sit either too short or toospaced out.anyone got one on thieircar that looks decent. with pics? if u guys do what part number is it?
and if anyone else know...
ok...i have a chance of installing the clutch i had bought in a group buy. many of my friends uses the clutch on their 240sx, ae86 but i never heard of any on the MKIII. the brand is superior clutches has anyone heard of it? ddriving my friends cars it feels real goodand grabs hard......so...
ok everytime i hit boost and then shift i see blue smoke from the exhaust. but at idle its fine and at low rpm i hardly seee any. i cckec the oil everyday before id rive and its been burning slowly....maybe quart or two quarts per oilchange. what do you guys think? turbo seals are my guess...
once it stops raining...i'm gonna move the supra into the garage and move my dads car out so i can put some silicone on there.....i'm gonna just silicone it up..since i never ever take the targa off...i like it hardtop and should have bought a hardtop but couldn't find one....damn the targa leak
