My old afm died so a bought another from a member on here. It seems to be working good except when the car goes back down to idle it just dies. Its not throwing any codes.
Any ideas of what it could be?
when i shift to second and floor the pedal the car seems to missfire and cut out whenever i start to build boost. i was getting a code 24 but i reset the ecu and drove it for a while and it hasnt come back
i was wondering if anyone knew of a company that makes an adapter so i can mount my t3 turbo to the stock manifold. or anyone that makes a tubular manifold with a t3 flange.

for the last few days i have noticed my temperature gauge was giving me ome weird readings.
when i accelerate over 4k rpm the temperature gauge starts to climb. if i take it to 6500 it goes past the red zone. but as soon as i let off the gauge goes right back to normal.

i have noticed my car burning oil for about a month now. it started with justed a little smoke at idle and now its constantly smokeing at idle. there was also alot of oil pooled in the elbow of the stock downpipe but none in the exhaust manifold.
what can cause this the turbo only has about...
the problem started on my way home from a friends i noticed that there was a surge during acceleraion so when i came to the next lite it was idleng around 400 to 500 rpm. when i got home i pulled codes and the only code that was there was code 11. i just dont know where to start looking for...
i did an auto to manual conversion(w58) about a month ago and about every four hundred miles my flywheel comes loose the first time it came loose two of the bolt were backed out until they touched the clutch and the rest were loose, i havent pulled the trans yet to see the bolts this time...
does anyone know what settings i have to change for my laptop to work with my pc monitior. right now when i start the computer it will load just until the login scree and then shut off, but if i start in safe mode it will work fine.

i just finished in stalling my five speed (w58) and everything worked fine for a couple of days, but after the fourth or fifth day i started hearing a squeaking noise from the trans i didnt really think about it. but later that day it started to make a crunching noise when the clutch was engaged...
my auto just blew for the second time so i decided it was time for a 5 speed but i have a few questions. my first question is i have a mkii parts car and was wondering if the w58 and all the other parts like clutch and clutch master cylinder work on my 7mgte.
my auto is throwing codes 61 62 63 64. what can cause this problem. i just put this tranny in about two weeks ago. all i did was change the skid control sensor because it was different than my old one.
i am getting a manual transmission for free from a 5m and was wondering if the bell housing from the 5m will fit the 7m, and will the 5m flywheel fit on the 7m. i will only be running the 5m flywheel until i get the money for a flywheel.
