    Can't remember the last time I saw a good running LS motor in the junk yard for $125. I pick up a bout 2 1UZ motors a year. Complete with harness, ecu, all accessories and usually snag the bellhousing too. It also comes down to preference. I for one prefer the sound a high revving oversquare...

    Thanks We aslo hope to be at TX2K13, but we still have a lot to do on the car and little time to do it, and the car will be fully untested. :( Regardless it will be a blast.

    we are going to weld the o-ringed cyl to the top piece, and T-off from there and come up from underneath, but still above the water pump

    Thanks guys. We have a set of valves, but still deciding if we are going to switch to an NA head. Yes we will be using a billet tensioner. 2JZ just seemed to be an easier route to go, and in the long run, cheaper. We still have the 7M sitting on an engine stand, which is for sale. Fully built.
