hey i have a question about the 5 speed swap. I was told that i don't have to change out the driveshaft... I was told that the auto shaft was short but it didn't really matter thoughts? Im in an 87 N/A automatic currently
also is there a differential problem... or are the auto and manual differentials the same? i don't wanna have my car get like 3 miles to the gallon because the ratio is to high

assuming i get a trans for 200 or so from a junk yard how much you think this will run me. i work part time and im a sophmor in college so spare change isn't something i have a lot of
i would love to do a manual swap i am in california and i could get a manual trans from a junk yard for about 200. My problem is is the auto to manual really difficult like clutch pedal fluid container and such. Im just kinda upset cuz this trans only has 78k miles on it
