I'd find another one to match the larger piston caliper. One thing that may happen is if you do any road racing or high speed driving you will get uneven braking in the rear. It's hard to say how much it will affect the braking but its something I def would change.
Man your typing skills need vast improvement. " the car is tranny" LOL.

I'm also from MILW, which machine shop did the work? Did they say why they took that much off? My guess is the head was so warped that it took that much to get it straight but in that case they should have put in a press for a half a day to try to straighten it out a bit before the milled it...
I sent you a text. Just give me your head and ill port and polish it, match the intake runners to the head and then some bowl work. Really should get the valves, springs and cams all at once. It makes it much easier when you go it set the valve clearances cuz most likely the machine shop will...
I've shimmed many 7m oil pumps with never a problem. I never heard of 2j guys(me being one) lowering their oil pressure to stop a FMS from blowing out. Matter of fact the modded 2jz oil pump SP and Boost Logic sells is shimmed, the return hole made larger and 3 set screws installed by the FMS...
If the rubber intake hose was busted it would run like crap. Pull a spark plug and check if they are worn or if the gaps to big. Also check the air filter and replace if nessesary. Just cuz the CEL went off doesn't mean its fixed, the code will or should be stored in the ECUs history memory. A...
Have each of the valve cover vents going to a catch can then from the catch can run a line to the org spot off the throttle body. Done it before and works great.
So your going to be using a OEM type HG? Just POP the extra cash and get a MHG from Titan Motorsports. Worth every penny in the long run. Also then you can TQ the head down to 80-85 ft lbs. In three steps of course.
I've run the Mocal sandwich plate ones with the 180* oil therostate built in. Never had any issues with any of them. Even had one on my old SCCA ITS MR2 without an single issue. They run $84 at WWW.racerpartswholesale.com. this site has tons of race/performance products at great prices.
