Just picked up a mkiv and wanted to take the maft pro out of my mk3 and install it in the mkiv. I just wanted to confirm first though that it will work. I think it could because I see mkiv guys running map ecu's and i know a few mk3 guys are as well. With that in mind the maft pro wiring is...

Think this would work?
Hi everyone.
My supra was broken into last year, and the ignition tumbler was destroyed. I wanted to know if it were possible to get another ignition tumbler, and have a locksmith make it work with my original key.
If this is possible, anyone know any good places to send it out to get...
How can you tell the difference by actually looking at it?
I need to replace my gte pump and I have a link for an oil pump but I am unsure whether it is for a ge or a gte.
Any help would be appreciated.
Yes,
washers were used. The motor is a 7m-gte and after reading a few posts, it seems very rare to have a 7m-gte block without squirters.
I'll keep you posted.
Thanks for the help
jdub, tell me if this makes sense.
Either the shavings are in the pump, or in the oil squirters, or possibly in the pressure sensor for the gauge.
But what I think is happening is when I give it gas oil pressure dips at first because the squirters are leaking, and then as pressure builds and...
Ya, I guess its something in the motor.
I am also slightly below the Full mark. I will top it up.
Funny thing today though, when I started the car and gave it gas, the oil pressure went past 140psi lol.
But it still dips for a second or two in psi, then climbs. Its like there is a delay.
Well I changed the oil as well as removed the oil cooler. Still have the same effect with the pressure dropping. I'll be looking into change the oil pump and checking the oil squirters in the new year.
Oil pump pulley seems fine, no wobbling when reving etc.
Also, I did find some...
mkiv pump is much quieter and is much better than the stock mk3 pump for sure.
Draws a lot of power though.
I always found this site helpful.

Will do, I'm leaning towards that as a possibly culprit. I doubt it could be the filter, if it was an issue I believe I would have low pressure anytime the car is running.
I'm gonna bypass the oil cooler lines completely.
Reason why is If I take out the thermopelet wouldn't the oil cooler...
