I was going to suggest fine tuning the boost. Your wastgate was probably stuck open. I figured that out when I did a NA-T swap. The car would buck like a bull. I have the AEM Tru-Boost.

I would imagine that you would be able to use the same bolts. Starter is the same.

There is also a ground left side by the turbo end of block. 14mm bolt.

I did this exact thing. Except rebuilt the W58 and put in a stage 3.... Do it right and make sure you do not use a standard clutch kit behind the gte. I had a new clutch (3000miles.) that was destroyed in 4 days ( no launching, boost on freeways). on the W58 use the ge flywheel, ect like stated...

My buddy has a CT26 57 trim 11 deg. clip dual entry turbo for a mr2 that he had upgraded abour 4 mos. ago but he decided to go with a garrett turbo. I would assume I could use it only if i had a special manifold? I cannot find any information on google that can lead me in the right direction...

so it was my tps and timing. (as well as the wires that run by the turbo got burn together). the pulsating grinding noise i learned a few days later was my water pump.... it completely fell apart...
