found the problem. ignitor was shorted out, replaced it and the car started on the first try.. thankx guys. found out from one of the guys here in the shop, if the alternator shorts out the ignitor has a high chance of frying as well. so that apparently was my problem..

cranks and turns over fine. just doesnt turn on. almost all grounds and power wires were traced and inspected. i may of missed a few. i will double check today and see if that solves it, thankx for the input.

so i changed the alternator this weekend, put it back together, now the car wont start.. any one have any ideas? all fuses checked, battery was fully charged, fuel pumps coming online. fuel pressure looks good. Crank postion sensor checked and cleaned. i think i am not getting spark.. anyone...

for the record my front bumper is back on. have to take the damn tranny out again. ran it at the track and i think i fucked the PP. on a side note i got some 315-40-17 to fit.. Man they look sick as hell. i will post some pics when i get home

well if you must know, i changed over to us cams, injectors, harness, etc before the swap. i chose to keep the jdm turbos, because when i pulled them they were bigger than the US, the manifold also looked better flowing, after using them i am glad i stuck with them, i ran about 24 psi on 110...

added a 4in turbo back exhaust, precsion 950hp Intercooler, new I/C pipes, Twin HKS ssqbov's. didnt have time to finish, but NX, HKS 280 cams and a new fuel system will be going on this weekend, the exhaust took alot longer than we expected and it was hot as hell.... but it...

when i had my 1j in there with stock turbos, afc, 550cc's, 3in downpipe/exhaust, intake, 2jz water pump, cam gears tuned, flex-a-lite's, boost control set at 18 psi i made 390 and 415 tq. boost dropped off to like 16.5 at 7200rpms..

thankx 91T breezen, yea i have a 2j in mine. i had the r154 for a very long time with out any problems even with alot of power through that tranny i never had any problems. the clutch gave out twice, which is why i am now going with the 6spd. i have a few pic on our site. but they are pretty...

gas mileage is alright, even with the 1000cc injectors. and yes it pulls hard... but any motor making that kind of power will pull insane, i just love the trbo sound when it spools up.
