I thought about putting it there. I have my filter sitting in there and right now there is no room to put the thermostat in that area. I could put it there still, but would have to find a place for the filter where its easy to get to. I know I must seem a little picky.

the way i have it set up in my head the filter is before the cooler as well. The only problem I am having is finding a place to put the thermostat. It seems no matter where I think it could go it ends up in the way of something. Any ideas?

I bought an oil relocation kit. I'm curious of where everyone has been putting their oil thermostat. I know it has to go before the filter I'm trying to find a really good spot for it. If there is any input from anyone with pictures would be very helpful. Thanks

All the Vgt turbos I have seen have a wiring harness for the fins. Does this turbo have a wiring harness?

For one thanks for all posts. I didnt think many people would be interested. Porsche has some new heat resistant material for the fins. Right now its a trade secret. Right now the vgts that are made are for desiels. Hopefuly when Porsche's patent runs out we will have a vgt turbo for our cars...

I have heard of a variable gerometry turbos. Most of these are being used on desiel engines. Garrett has made several of them but Shelby was the one company to use it. I have searched the internet for one but cannot find one. If someone can tell me what other companies make vgt turbos I would be...

Thanks for the input. I just relayed the message to my dad. We will see what happens. And if it is the rheostat i will replace at sometime, but the bipass should work for now. Thanks.

I'm in Grand Junction for school but the car is in Longmont. Thats where i live really. My dad has been trying to get it fixed. I just read the last post so i havent had a chance to relay how to bipass it. Its just weird that it worked fine and i change the cluster and then it stops working.
