    Has anyone found a good aftermarket replacement for the clips mounted onto the back of our moulding? Toyota has the caps which are inserted into the holes in the door panels, but they show no part numbers or anything on the clips themselves. If no aftermarket replacements for the clips exist...

    You're quite welcome. Honestly enough, you'd better get used to having to find parts off of salvage vehicles, or from people who accumulate spares. With ours being 28 years old new parts are getting tough to find sometimes. I keep an eye out all the time for Supras in back yards, side yards...

    If they are in fact discontinued and no longer available from Toyota check and see if someone on here has a set for sale. Otherwise it'll mean checking out any salvage Supras you can find until you come across a set of seals that are in better shape than yours.

    I would think the break-in for a new engine would be the same regardless of the control system you have in place.
