Well my took it to the shop yesterday and found out we installed the TPS incorrect , I dont know how we managed to that But we did ?? That only cost him $154 !!! THX for the help

actually my kid did buy a brand new TPS and it didnt help

Well we replaced the tps with one from a junkyard befor and didnt have to do anything and it ran fine till the other day (how do you cal the tps) now you cant go over 40mph if you can go that fast like i said engine wont go over 2000rpm then the fuel gets shut off till it drops again below...

what is cps ? the engine wont go over 2000rpm Its just like the test to check the fuel shut off when you short the 2 terminals on the connector to the tcs

My kids car 87 supra non turbo yestercdaay started to cut out everytime he gets to 2000rpm ,checked code said couldbe throttle pos sensor got brand new one still dose the same thing , plus it now idles at about 1200 to 1500 rpm can anyone HELP THX :1zhelp:

My son just picked up a 87 non turbo has over 140,000 on car engine has been rebuilt by a shop how good ?, engine seems run good no smoke at all but has no power, slow acceleration and we cant get the idle below about 1200rpm we tried every idle adjustments we could find but did no good...
