I traded the nonrunning supra for a perfect running 93 mx6, with leather interior, no turbo.. but a V6 and 5spd.
I got it for reliability and to save a lil gas, so far its done its job.. but now i need a supra again, lol.
Alright, so about a year ago I had to make a pretty tough decision of selling (actually trading my Supra) for an mx6.
I traded it to a guy an became pretty good friends with him, he ended up getting rod knock, it kinda made me sad.
Anyways.. a year later i find myself wanting a supra more than...
The other vids on that site are pretty crazy, the humvee destroying the tank from a long ways away, and the convoy ambush an stuff. watching stuff like this REALLY makes me wanna join the military
I'm tryin to help out the guy who bought my car..
He said after swapping over to a new battery the car was fine.
The next morning the car has NO power
nothing..
He says the terminals are new, the battery tested perfect, and everything is grounded fine.
I was thinking it could be a main...
And yeah, i'll defenitly be back.
I've been kinda down cuz now my friend with a LS swapped honda civic, with like, 7k into the motor keeps telling me "you finally have a car i can keep up with!"
Welp.. after going over my finances, and stuff..
i decided to put the supra up for sale..
it sucks cuz i had big plans for this car, and just ordered buttloads of parts for it.. But its for the better..
I'll save money not having to fix it over an over, and by next tax season my friend will...
So, i searched back to an older thread, and.. a guy had the same problems as me.. He fiddled around with the injector clips, I went out an did the same thing.. it did two things, at first it improved the problem.. 100%.. than as i fiddled more it cut the car off.. with some more fiddling it...
Alright.. I grounded the coilpack, I ran a permanent wire from the stock location on the coil where it grounds, to a spot a lil farther away and cleaner. It helped for a lil while, It'll start up every time now.. It still eventually runs crappy.
Heres what i noticed, When i first start it...
Yeah thats wierd, maybe I lost the ground and thats when it wouldnt fire at all.. and now that i re-bolted it its just running like ass? cuz it found the ground but its not that good? Bahh i dont know, i'm considering just buying a cheap beater and saving for a 1jz swap.. If i had another car...
I went out an bolted down the coilpack, tight.. also tightened the lil allen keys.
When it starts off it runs crappy full time.. I havnt checked any of the other terminals or anything.. Is it okay to use "Battery cleaner/acid detect" on them? for battery terminals?
